Burrall has extensive experience building, maintaining, repairing, upgrading, and flying composite-based experimental aircraft. Recognizing that although the fleet of canards found worldwide had a great reputation, there was a need for hands-on support and service. Using his background in equipment maintenance, Burrall dedicated himself to providing this service by founding Freeflight Composites. His experience includes 2000+ hours of flying canard aircraft and building his own aircraft including a QI, Vari-Eze, and the Cozy IIIx he currently flies. Burrall understands that canards are great planes, built from a great design, and that they lend themselves very well to the recognized upgrades and improvements learned through the hundreds of thousand of hours flown by the fleet. Burrall has made a career of working to improve the safety, reliability, and utility of the aircraft while preserving the fundamental qualities that make these aircraft so desirable.
Burrall considers his greatest achievement with Freeflight Composites as being able to assemble the fantastic group of people who work at Freeflight Composites, LLC. "The Freeflight Composites staff is the best in the business".

Marc Zeitlin Cozy MKIV Builder, Mechanical Engineer, A&P, SPECIAL PROJECTS CONSULTANT
Marc Zeitlin joined Freeflight Composites as a consultant to provide the highest quality mobile inspection, maintenance and fabrication services to the canard community. With his first-class education, experience and straight-talking style, Marc provides our customers with top quality service. Marc will travel to customer sites to assist in building and inspecting canard planes and projects. When it comes to safety, a qualified voice that “says it like it is” is a real asset and Marc has one of the best minds in the business. Until recently, Freeflight has not been available to do off-site condition inspections, but now we offer those inspections to anyone who cannot or prefers not to bring their plane to Colorado. Regarding fabrication services, for example, Marc could come to your shop and help you align and bore the wing/spar joints. At a such a critical phase of your construction, Marc's arrival could have this procedure completed with accuracy and precision in a single day. Of course, Marc will be available here at Falcon for consulting on special projects that require his skills and abilities.
